Criss Cross cards are usually made with a base and two flaps on either side of this base folded over to cross in the middle of the card.
Some examples would be a Criss Cross Gatefold Card where the flaps are just folded over each other.
Or you can have a Criss Cross Pocket where the flaps are adhered to the base and then a card is included to go inside the pocket.
They can include layers, decoupage and great for adding gift vouchers or other little gifts. They can be decorated with decoupage, medallions, die cuts, ribbons or other embellishments.
