For this project I printed the image out at smaller than the size provided onto 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock.
I also printed out some backgrounds from cup328305_1749 onto the same type of cardstock. I took a really cheap A5 notebook and measured from front right edge to the spring.
I took a sheet of green cardstock and scored at this distance from the edge and also a further eight times at half centre intervals using my Hougie Board.
I then attached the card to the front of the notebook using template tape. I folded at the scores around the spring binding and attached the rest of the cardstock to back of the notebook using the same tape.
I cut a panel from one of the backgrounds a little smaller than the front of my notebook and used finger-lift tape to attach it to the front of the notebook.
I cut around the oval frame and overspilling tomatoes of the topper and stuck it to another of the backgrounds I'd printed out and then tore around to give an uneven edged mat.
I also tore out a smaller mat and wrote "Garddio" - which is Welsh for "Gardening" - on it using a ProMarker.
I again used finger-lift tape to attach these panels to the front of the notebook.
I took this picture of the decorated notebook at this point, but because I'm going to use it to make notes as I'm gardening, I've since covered it with clear sticky back plastic - the shine off the covering makes it difficult to get a photo after covering.
