Advent Calendar Card 'wynter Blessings'
This card is a novelty card preferably given on or before the 1st of December, so that the recipient can open the windows as they would a standard advent calendar.
Open a new window each day right up until Christmas Eve.
Using a craft knife and a steel ruler you will need to cut out the 3 sides of the windows indicated by the unbroken line. The broken line is there to score and indicates how the window remains attached to the card.
Mount he Main image on top of the side with all the small images (these I am sure will come in useful for other things also) and attach in place by gluing the outer edges only.
Mount onto your own card and embellish as you wish. Use ribbon gems and of course the Christmas pre requisite GLITTER....
Just have fun. If you like this Calendar why not check out my other designs. See who else you can treat to this special kind of card.

These cards are so quick and easy to make and keep the kids (and the big kids) occupied for the month of December.
I printed the sheet on 160g card. I then cut around the two large images. Using a steel ruler and a shape knife, I then cut around the 3 solid edges of each numbered box ensuring the the cuts were made right into the corners.
I then added lots of strips of double sided tape to the back of the front piece making sure that none of the tape got in the way of the tabs. (Otherwise you are not able to lift them up) Then align the of the card to the back and stick down.
I then mounted the advent card to a piece of A4 card stock that was folded in half.
