i printed two of the image sheet to show one with and one without the added decoupaged elements to let you see how good both types turned out.for the Mothers day card i printed the image sheet onto photo paper and layered the the background sheet onto a white pearl card base and i added the book style image using 1mm foam pads.i printed the decoupaged birthday sheet onto photo paper and layered the main image onto a white pearl card base and then i added the decoupaged elements..i think you will agree they are both stunning images when made up into cards.this is a great value kit there are 7 A5 backing papers and 8 card fronts and all for a mere £4.00 unbelievable!!
I reduced the size so that I would get two cards per sheet and printed onto 200gsm glossy photo card.
I printed an extra copy for extra layers. I folded an A4 sheet of heavyweight white card to make 2 A5 size cards.
Attached main image to card using dst, then scored next layer down centre of book, attached centre and edges of book to card using dst, but with 2mm sticky pads down the centre of both pages to make book pages curved.
Added a 2nd layer from the extra copy, for the birthday card, it was just the ribbon. This is a fabulous collection and makes really easy cute cards. Love it!
I printed out each sheet twice on 230gm glossy photo paper, I cut out the backing paper and book from the first sheet and I used double sided tape to stick the backing paper to a 6 x 8 greeting card blank, using 2mm sticky foam pads attached the book to the backing paper.
For the baby cards I cut out an extra teddy and pair of bootees, and for the birthday card I cut out extra butterflies and roses from the second sheet, using 2mm sticky foam pads added these to the cards matching the pictures up whilst going along, thus accentuating these stunning cards.
