I printed the sheet onto Super Smooth white card and cut out around the pieces. I put some fine white border peel-offs around what would be the top end of the shoe and ankle strap. I just pushed each of the tab pieces on the "shoe" tops inwards with my fingers (didn't do any scoreing) so that they folded in naturally. I used some Pinflair Bookbinding glue around the edge of the inside sole, lined up the toe area of the top with the toe of the sole and started folding the front three pieces in place. I worked the body of the shoe around the sole for each side, pushing the tabs onto the sole as I went around. At the join I placed the piece with the ankle strap over the other piece and put a little of the glue on the join. I also put a little of the glue to hold down the end of the ankle strap at the other end. I put some of the same glue all over the other sole piece and stuck it in place over the inside sole and folded in tabs.
I finished off by putting some more of the fine white peel-offs around the bottom of the shoe next to the sole and put two faux, sticky back, pearl gems on the end of the ankle strap where a button would be.
Although a little fidly to get into place, I must admit it proved easier than I was expecting. I intend to put them into a little box with some paper lace around it and an acetate panel in the lid to present them as a little gift.
